JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center (JREC) was established to create rural startups in the counties of Wells, Foster, Griggs, Stutsman, Barnes, Logan, LaMoure, McIntosh and Dickey.

Their Virtual Women’s Business Conference is geared at preparing women for a variety of topics they may need when it comes to starting-up or expanding their organization or business.

Over the week of March 7th, trainers will be presenting on a variety of topics to include cyber security, small business financing, burnout prevention, e-commerce marketing, recruiting talent, and more.

One of these presenters is Lorraine Davis, Founder and CEO of NATIVE, Inc.

Both organizations are designed to holistically develop Native Americans and other low-income populations living in urban areas in North Dakota providing social, cultural, and economic services and educational learning opportunities.

Davis says she’ll present on that and her experience in starting up a non-profit business.

Davis says some information may be missing and she wants to enlighten participants who may questions are not know where to start.
