BROOKINGS, S.D. (jimmiepride.com)– Jordynn Toliver (SO/Box Elder, S.D.) placed seventh in the pentathlon at the NAIA Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships Thursday.
With the top-eight finish, Toliver earns All-American honors. Her 3367 points were just 15 behind sixth place and 17 behind fifth place. Five of the top seven placers came from the GPAC.
Toliver set new pentathlon bests in the 60 meter hurdles (9.59), high jump (1.55 meters), and 800 meters (2:30.51). Her best event finish was third in the shot put (11.33 meters), followed by sixth in the 800 and tied for eighth in the high jump.
