SIOUX CITY, Iowa (jimmiepride.com)– The University of Jamestown women’s basketball team had four players earn GPAC All-Conference honors as the league announced its postseason honors Wednesday.

Hannah DeMars (JR/Grand Rapids, MN) was selected to the first team for the second consecutive season. DeMars led the Jimmies with 15 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. She shot 46.2 percent from the field and became the 22nd player in program history to reach 1000 career points.

Noelle Josephson (SR/Ramsey, MN) was named to the second team. Josephson tied for second on the team with 11.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. She led the team with 72 steals and tied with DeMars for the team high in blocks with 17. Josephson set the UJ career steals mark with 272 and also reached 1000 career points.

Kia Tower (JR/Bigfork, MN) and Madelyn Schmidt (FR/Tappen, ND) earned honorable mention recognition. Tower made a team-high 54 three-point field goals, tied for second in points per game with 11.2, was second on the team with 2.6 assists per game, and moved into 24th place on the all-time UJ scoring list with 959 points. Schmidt appeared in all 31 games as a freshman, making 22 starts while averaging 6.6 points per game. Her 53 three-point field goals was second-most on the team, and she currently has a streak of 11 straight games with a three-pointer.

Jamestown finished with an 18-13 record, including a mark of 12-3 at Harold Newman Arena.
