JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Medical Center’s (JRMC) motto is keeping care close to home.

By adding to their Gynecology & Obstetrics (OB/GYN) team, they’ll do just that.

Dr. Emily Stromquest finds herself in Jamestown after starting her journey at the University of Minnesota, Duluth and University of North Dakota.

Dr. Stromquist joins Dr. Gregg McAdoo and bolsters the department by adding another provider to the region. Dr. Stromquist says she’s always had an interest in providing OB/GYN services her whole life.

Staying in the Upper Midwest was also important to her choosing the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Nurse Practitioner Makenzie Breitbach will also be joining the staff in the OB/GYN department. An Oakes, North Dakota native with a nursing degree at the University of Jamestown, Breitbach says she’s been working at the JRMC ever since.

She says she started to develop more of an interest in OB/GYN while completing her nursing education.

Breitbach says she will be assisting Dr. McAdoo and Dr. Stromquist with their day-to-day duties.

JRMC Marketing Manager Katie Ryan-Anderson says adding Dr. Stromquist and Breitbach to OB/GYN only makes their service more available to those who need it.
