OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Oakes speech team had another successful outing this weekend in Maple Valley.

Elexis Haring took home 5th place in Humorous Interpretation and received the Top Novice award in EPR. Connor Boe Quandt got to attend his first meet and came home with the Top Novice award in Impromptu Speaking.

Their next meet is in Lisbon next weekend, March 5th.
