Fargo, ND (AgNews890.com) This week the President of the National FFA Organization Cole Baerlocher spent FFA week touring Illinois and North Dakota. He said he wanted to get a feel of the different culture chapters have in each state. Baerlocher said his week in North Dakota started in Fargo on Wednesday night. He also spent time this week at the Capital in Bismarck listening to a career and technical education coordinators meeting. He will wrap up his stay Friday by speaking to schools in Killdeer, Hebron, and Bowman. Baerlocher said he was impressed with what he has seen in the state chapters. He was also excited to see the passion in the FFA students that he visited and “It’s Obvious that here in North Dakota they are doing something right.”
Baerlocher left the interview with this message, “It’s been an amazing time , you know, I’ve been here in North Dakota for 3 days and it feels like I have lived here half my life. That’s just how welcoming and kind the people I have interacted with have been”.
The visit was coordinated as part of the National FFA Week Feb. 19th – 26th.
