JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Spring Turkey lottery was held and more than 600 licenses remain in seven units in North Dakota.

Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says this is a perfect opportunity to claim one of those available licenses by March 16th on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Leier says hunters are allowed two licenses for the spring season. Applications must be submitted online at the North Dakota Game & Fish Department website at gf.nd.gov.

Landowners are also encouraged to explore electronic land posting.
