ROBINSON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An investigation is underway after a man was found dead in rural Kidder County Monday afternoon.

Sheriff Barry Vannatta reports he was contacted by State Radio to a body that was located in a ditch along Highway 36 just after 12 PM on February 21st.

The man, identified as 56 year-old Timothy Becker of Robinson, had left his vehicle after turning onto a low maintenance road. Sheriff Vannatta says an autopsy is currently being conducted to determine the cause of death.

The incident remains under investigation.
