CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Carrington will be moving forward with plans and specifications for a new waterline to the Northwest part of town.
Mayor Tom Erdmann reports during their latest city meeting, the bids will be let for the project to bring much needed water pressure and service to the northwest.
Erdman says they hope to have the project done by early summer for Dakota Growers and others.
The city also began the bidding process for sanitation services. The current contract is up in September 2022. Mayor Erdmann says four bids were received, but the city attorney recommended rejecting all bids and reassess their needs.
In other city information, Mayor Erdmann says an aged pumper truck with the city fire department will need to be addressed soon.
