VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Valley City is reminding the public that vehicles parked on emergency routes will be towed if they are not removed while city crews are trying to remove snow.

During a snow event public works crews plow emergency routes first to accommodate ambulances and law enforcement vehicles.

Public works will begin snow removal at midnight starting with downtown Valley City and branching into residential sections of town beginning in the Northwest section of the city and moving clockwise on Tuesday, Feb. 22nd and Wednesday, Feb. 23rd.
