JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) special CEO Search Committee meeting was called Monday to finish establishing the different processes and procedures of their search.

Connie Ova will be retiring in May after serving as CEO since 2003. JSDC Board of Directors Chair Marlee Siewart says they’ve already begun receiving applications for the position.

The JSDC Annual Meeting has been scheduled for April 27th.

The committee spent time discussing the timeline and hiring process when they are ready to begin the interviews.

JSDC Administrative & Finance Coordinator Tracey Pringle says they have their timeline established for the ongoing process. This included finalizing the defining qualifications further for the position in order to objectively review candidates before interviews.

Background checks and further information may be conducted after candidates are selected. First interviews are expected to be conducted in the second week of March with second interviews being conducted in the middle of March.

Based on interviews, a candidate could be selected by the end of March 2022.
