VELVA, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) In non-region action for the Cardinals, Lucas Hendrickson drops in 24 points including three 3-pointers but it wasn’t enough as Carrington drops to the Aggies of Velva 60-50. Carrington drops to 8-9 overall and Velva improves to 12-5 overall.

The entire game was pretty tight for the most part, featuring three ties and three lead changes, Carrington led 43-38 at the end of the third quarter, but the Aggies outscored the Cardinals 22-7 in the fourth to get the victory. The Aggies had three players in double figures, Kaden Chadwick and Kyle Sandy each with 14 and Ben Schepp added 12. Carrington was led by Hendrickson’s 24 and Hudson Schmitz had 12. The Aggies were 14 of 19 at the free throw line in the second half, they did not have a free throw attempt the entire first half.
