VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On February 12^th, the Valley City High School Hi-Liner Speech Team competed in their 4^th tournament of the season. This weekend’s tournament was held at St. Mary’s High School in Bismarck. The Hi-Liners had another successful weekend with 2 additional qualifiers to the State tournament in April and 6 total event champions. St. Mary’s tournament does not give out sweepstakes awards.  “Top Novice” indicates that the student was the highest scoring 7^th/8^th grader or first year 9^th grade competitor.
