After falling behind 1-0 to the Golden Eagles, Jamestown scored twice in the second and added four runs in the third for a 6-1 lead.

Halsey (1-0), making her first start, worked four innings and struck out nine while allowing one run on five hits. Maddy Zander pitched the final three innings, striking out four and earning the save.

The Blue Hawks put together five hits and took advantage of a Jimmie error for four runs in the top of the fifth. Kat Miska (SR/Pequot Lakes, Minn.) (1-1) was able to escape the jam and held DSU off the scoreboard in the final two frames to get the win. She struck out seven and walked just one in her first complete game of the year.

Neiles and Halsey had a pair of hits, while La La Romero, Gentrey Turin, and Katie Merchant all singled.

UJ 14, Presentation 1 (5 innings)
