VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The girls Hi-Liners basketball team had their game on Friday night cancelled due to poor weather. The girls didn’t have to wait to long before returning to game action as they were on the road on Saturday to take on West Fargo Sheyenne. Despite a second half that saw the Hi-Liners put up 27-points, it was the home West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs who came away with the 69-46 victory.
In the game, the hi-Liners were led by Tesa Olson who finished the game with a double double with 16-points and 12 rebounds. Drew Potratz had a solid game of her own adding in 13-points and collecting 5 reounds. Potratz also had 3 steals in the game. Brooke Eggermont continued to have a stellar season as she finished with 7-points and 7 rebounds.
Next up, the girls team will be on the road on Tuesday when they travel to Wahpeton. This will be a double header with the boys team, and both games can be heard on am1490/96.4FM KOVC, streamed on NewsDakota.com, or on the KOVC app.
