MADDOCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Day two of the 2022 District 7 Girls Basketball Tournament was held on Saturday with another two games, here are the results:
No. 1 (2 in state) Four Winds/Minnewaukan 75 No. 4 Harvey/Wells County 41
The Indians hit 11 3-pointers and cruised to a 34 point win in the first semifinal against the Hornets of Harvey/Wells County. Senior Myona Dauphinais led the way with 24 points, including seven 3-pointers, Ezura Rainbow added 18, Mahpiya Jackson had 14 including four 3-pointers and Alionna Lawrence had 10. HWC was led by Senior Kalyn Keller with 19. FWM remains perfect with a 19-0 overall record. HWC drops to 7-14 overall.
No. 2 Benson County 66 No. 3 Nelson County 39
Eighth grader Aubrey Kenner dropped in 28 points and Senior Quinn Neppl added 16 to help the Wildcats defeat the Chargers in the second semifinal. Senior Marit Ellingson hit four 3-pointers and ended with 22 total points for the NC Chargers. BC improves to 15-5 overall, NC drops to 10-10 overall.

4PM – Harvey/WC vs. Warwick (Region 4 Qualifier)
530pm – New Rockford/Sheyenne vs. Nelson County (Region 4 Qualifier)
7pm – Four Winds/Minnewaukan vs. Benson County (Championship)
