We continue to highlight some of the area organizations that will be participating in Giving Hearts Day on February 10th.

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Victory Christian School and St. John’s Academy are both education facilities rooted in faith-based learning. They’re also both participating in Giving Hearts Day.

Giving Hearts Day (GHD), the 24 hour donation drive that has raised over $112 million for North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota non-profits since 2008. Vikki Coombs is the Executive Director for Victory Christian School.

Coombs added that there is a $5,000 match for donations made during Giving Hearts Day.

Coombs says they will host a family night and spaghetti feed on February 10th at the school. For more information, visit victorychristianschool.org.

St. John’s Academy has also been a longtime participant in Giving Hearts Day. Jeff Trumbauer is the principal of the school.

Trumbauer says they have over $40,000 in matching funds through Knights of Columbus and other donors. The goal has been set at $80,000 total for the school.

He added that any donation, large or small, is appreciated by St. John’s Academy and the other participating non-profit organizations.
