VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The following is a news release from Valley City Public Schools Superintendent Josh Johnson.
“Valley City Public Schools is actively investigating a possible threat to school safety at Valley City High School. Along with our School Resource Officer and Valley City Police Department, we are interviewing students and gathering information related to this alleged threat.
Johnson said the individual that was connected with these concerning threats is being held out of school at least until the investigation is complete. He said will continue to follow our procedures and threat assessments processes. Appropriate disciplinary actions will be followed according to our school district policies.
Johnson said please know that our school district takes these concerns very seriously. If you or your child has any additional information, please have them contact their school principal and/or school resource officer Sean Hagen.”
