Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—-The Carrington Cardinals outscored Harvey-Wells County (HWC) 31-18 in the second half and defeated the Hornets 52-36. Leading by 3 at halftime (21-18), the Cards continued to build the lead in the second half, the 16 point victory was the largest lead of the game. Haley Wolsky scored a game high 15 points for the Cards and Emma Rindy finished with 14 (including four 3-pointers). Edyn Hoornaert added 12 points for Carrington. HWC was paced by Lexi Fike with a game high 15 points (three 3-pointers) and 6 points each for Emma Dockter and Kalyn Keller. The Hornets fell to 5-11 overall and Carrington improved to 9-6.
