Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—-The Carrington Cardinals wrestling team made quick work of the Devils Lake Firebirds thanks in part to 5 Firebird forfeits and 5 Cardinal pins for a  60-12 dual victory. Trace Hoggarth (113), Nick Garber (126), Matthew Duchscherer (132), Kael Kovar (152), and Logan Weninger (160) all earned wins by fall. Jenna Gerhardt (106) and Tate Estenson (170) both picked up decisions and Owen Lindstrom (120) won by forfeit for the 12 Firebird points.

The West Fargo Packers defeated Carrington 39-36 with a total of 5 pins/forfeit victories. All six of Carrington’s victories were via pin or forfeit as well. the 3 matches that went the distance were all decision wins for the Packers and the deciding factor in the dual win. Duchscherer (126), Brecken Lura (138), Michael Clifton (182), Callen Garber (195), and Trace Hoggarth (106) all picked up wins by fall for the Cards. West Fargo winners by fall were Waylon Cressell (145), Nick Anderson (152), and Anthony Jacklovich (285).
