JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce’s Loyal to Local Passport Program exceeded expectations according to Executive Director Emily Bivens.

The program was introduced during the holidays to help spur local economic growth and encourage residents and visitors to shop in Jamestown. This supports the Chamber’s mission of growing and promoting local business.

Participants would take booklets from participating businesses, seeking stamps for a purchase of $50 or more. Once the booklet reached $250 spent, it was then turned in for a chance to win donated prizes.

Bivens says they’ll look to return the program in 2022 and encourages both Chamber and non-Chamber businesses to consider being a part of the Passport program.
