EAST GRAND FORKS, MN. (JRFSC) – Members of the James River Figure Skating Club Competitive Team competed in the 30th Annual Northern Star International Figure Skating Competition, January 14-16 at VFW Arena in East Grand Forks, MN. Our 7 competing skaters returned with several medals. Results are as follows: 

Brinley Bear: 4th Place in Excel Beginner Free Skate, 1st Place in Compulsory Moves

Jacie Bear: 3rd Place in Excel Beginner Free Skate, 4th Place in Compulsory Moves

Peyton Brunner: 1st Place in Excel Beginner Free Skate, 2nd Place in Compulsory Moves, 3rd Place in Showcase-Lyrical

Siri Tweten: 2nd Place in Excel Pre-Preliminary Free Skate, 1st Place in Compulsory Moves, 2nd Place in Showcase-Lyrical

Gabrielle Tweten: 3rd Place in Excel Novice Free Skate, 3rd Place in Compulsory Moves, 1st Place in Showcase-Lyrical
