JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A popular fundraiser last year, the EZ Wheels Shrine Club will be returning their Truck Drop to the Little Britches fishing pond this winter.

A truck will be placed on the frozen pond and participants will have the opportunity to purchase “guesses” or tickets as to when the truck will fall through the ice.

The club first introduced the fundraiser in 2021. Shriner Joe Burgard says this weekend, they’ll prepare the spot to place the truck.

Burgard says the person who most closely guesses the date and time the truck drops will win $1000.

Money raised will go towards the transportation fund to help families with expenses while attending one of the Shriner Medical facilities and many of the other Shriner causes.

Tickets are $5 a piece or $20 for 5. You can contact an EZ Wheels Shriner for tickets, message them on Facebook, or email ezwheels2017@gmail.com.

The club is also gearing up for their Cornhole Tournament in March. 64 teams will compete in the one day tournament at Club 1883. Craig Beedy is helping oversee the cornhole league and tournament planning.
