SIOUX CITY, IA. (jimmiepride.com) – Hannah DeMars (JR/Grand Rapids, MN) has been named GPAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

DeMars averaged 16.5 points, 8 rebounds and a steal per game as the Jimmies split a pair of games last week. In UJ’s upset over No. 19 Concordia (Neb.), she finished with 21 points while shooting 75 percent (9-of-12) from the field. DeMars also grabbed seven boards in the victory.

Jamestown (12-8 overall, 5-7 GPAC) is on the road this weekend for a pair of games at Doane (Neb.) and Hastings (Neb.)
