JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two individuals were freed after being trapped in the elevator near Pipestem Dam Tuesday afternoon.

The Jamestown Fire Department and Rural Fire Department were called out after 5 PM to the Pipestem Dam control unit building. Officials received assistance from the Army Corp of Engineers with the trapped men and were able to free them without any injures.

Units were on scene for roughly 45 minutes.
