WASHINGTON, D.C. (NewsDakota.com) – A disturbing shortage of blood donors and a steep rise in demand for services has created shortages in blood banks across the country.

Factor in COVID-19 related sick calls at blood banks and you have a shortage crisis.

The situation has prompted the American Red Cross to take a step it’s never had to before, it’s declared a National Blood Crisis. If you are able to donate blood, please do so as soon as possible.
