JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The James River Humane Society has set the date for the 2022 annual meeting.

Board member Jay Nitschke reports they’ve set March 16th for the annual meeting and welcome anyone to join them.

Nitschke says public input and participation is crucial as the non-profit remains the “community’s shelter.”

The meeting will be held at the Adventist School at 6:30 PM.

Nitschke says they’re also excited to return their popular kuchen fundraiser. Orders can be placed at jamesriverhumanesociety.org before March 26th.

Another new fundraiser is their kennel sponsorships.

The shelter is also always accepting supply and monetary donations.

For more information or to adopt a cat or dog today, visit jamesriverhumanesociety.org or call the shelter at 701-252-0747.
