JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors have introduce a new program aimed at welcoming in residents to the city.

Launching this month, Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Emily Bivens says they’ve already had some interest in the new program.

Ambassadors been contacting area businesses to create some incentives for new employees and residents.

“This gift is meant to be an experience that can help integrate your new employee into our community, help them become more involved, and make it easier to explore our local businesses,” the Ambassadors state in their information packet. “We anticipate approximately 50-75 ‘Welcome to Jamestown’ gifts being given out in one year.”

While only Chamber businesses can participate, Bivens says they welcome you to become a chamber member today and offer something to these new residents.
