BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Drew Wrigley has formally announced his candidacy for Attorney General of North Dakota.
The formal announcement comes one week after Wrigley publicly stated his intention to enter the race and two weeks following Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem‘s announcement that he would not be seeking reelection.
Wrigley, a Republican, and will be seeking the Republican nomination at the Republican state convention April 1 and 2nd in Bismarck.
In his announcement, Wrigley highlights his leadership experience in both the public and private sectors, including 17 years in law enforcement, years of private sector business experience, and his service as Lieutenant Governor of North Dakota.
Wrigley, his wife Kathleen, and their three children live in Bismarck.
