VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Valley City is reminding the public that vehicles parked on emergency routes will be ticketed and towed if they are not removed while city crews are trying to remove snow during the winter months.

During a snow event public works crews plow emergency routes to accommodate ambulances and law enforcement vehicles.

Public works crews will begin snow removal in downtown Valley City at midnight on January 6th. Crews will than remove snow in residential areas of the city all day Thursday.

Garbage pickup continues in Valley City, crews have been notified of areas missed earlier this week and have made arrangements to go back get that garbage pickup as soon as possible.
