VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a songwriter? If so, a workshop on the song writing process will be held on Saturday in the Valley City Barnes County Public Library at 2:30pm.

Singer songwriter Joe DeMasi talked about the concept behind the workshop.

Singer songwriter Greg Hager encourages anyone interested in learning about the first steps of songwriting to attend this free workshop. He talked about how inspirations can lead to writing a good song.

The free songwriter workshop will be held Saturday at 2:30pm in the Valley City Barnes County Public Library. The starting time was pushed back a half hour due to the Bison Football Game which kicks off at 11am Saturday.
