JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The annual Winter Ag and Construction Expo is planned for January 13th and 14th at the Jamestown Civic Center.

The event is one that farmers and producers look forward to every year.  Organizer Lynn Lambrecht with i3G Media says that the event brings back many of the traditional activities.

Another highly attend event of the expo will include an expert panel on the ADM Soybean Crushing Plant.  The panel will be moderated by Farm Director Mick Kjar with the Ag Central Radio Network.  Panelists will represent Great River Energy, Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation, Midwest Ag Energy, and ADM.

The expo will also feature presentations on carbon credits, farm transition and estate planning, liquid fertilizer, market updates, and 2022 crop insurance updates. Exhibitors will also be present to discuss seed, fertilizer, buildings, ag equipment, and new technology.

On Thursday of the expo, NDSU Extension Pesticide Program Specialist Mike Liane will offer a commercial pesticide certification course.  Lambrecht says this course is the only one of its kind in the area.

Parking and admission are free.  The Unison Bank free Farmers Appreciation Lunch will be held at noon both days.
