VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Sheyenne Valley Area Career Technology Center (SVACTC) pursuing a State Career Technology Education (CTE) grant to either build a new facility or renovate their existing structure in Valley City.
SVACTC Director Derrick Bopp talked about what the board approved at a special board meeting last week.
He said there is a lot of competition from other centers in the state pursuing these CTE grants.
A final decision from the state Center for Technical Education will be announced in January or early February.
North Dakota legislators approved of appropriating $70 million for the creation or expansion of existing Career Technology Centers in the state during their 2021 legislative session.
