JAMESTOWN, N.D. (newsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Parks & Recreation Department has announced the warming house dates and times for both McElroy Park and the Bunker this winter.

“Due to lack of warming House Attendants the outdoor ice rink warming house at McElroy Park, it will be the only warming house open starting on Sunday, December 26th.

Parks and Rec states the warming houses at Meidinger and Leapaldt Parks will open as attendants become available.

Regular Hours are: McElroy Park:
Mon-Fri. 3:30pm-8:00pm.
Saturday: 11:00am-7:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm-6:00pm

CHRISTMAS VACATION HOURS (Dec. 26th – Jan.2)
Monday – Sunday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Dec. 24th 11:00am – 3:00pm. Dec. 25th Closed
Dec. 31st 11:00am – 3:00pm. Jan. 1st Closed

The Bunker warming house will be opening for sledding starting Thursday, December 23rd.

Regular Hours starting Monday Jan. 3rd are:
Mon-Fri.   3:30-5:30pm.
Saturday: 11:00am-5:30pm
Sunday:  11:00am-5:30pm

Hours during Christmas vacation (Dec. 23 – Jan.2) are:
Monday – Friday 11:00am – 5:30pm
Dec 24th and Dec.31st 11:00am – 3:00pm
Dec. 25th and Jan. 1st closed

Warming Houses will not be open if wind chill is 15 degrees or more below zero.
