VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The pay for substitute elementary teachers in the Valley City public school district was bumped up to $140 dollars per day.

Valley City school board vice president Natalie Wintch said we really value our substitute teachers.

The school board unanimously approved of the pay increase for substitute teachers during their regular board meeting on Wednesday, December 15th.
