GLENFIELD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) In the District 5 opener for both teams, Carrington forced 36 GM Titans turnovers with good defense and a full-court press as they cruise to a 64-33 victory. Carrington improves to 1-0 in D5 and 5-1 overall, GM drops to 0-1 in D5 and 3-3 overall.

Junior Haley Wolsky led all scorers with 19 points, including three 3-pointers. Edyn Hoornaert added 17 for two players in double figures for the Cardinals. Asia Becherl had 15 to lead the Titans.

Next game for Carrington will be Monday at No. 3 Four Winds/Minnewaukan in Fort Totten, KDAK will have the game starting about 7pm.
