JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Tonight, a Magical Medora Christmas will take the stage at the Reiland Fine Arts Center in Jamestown.

Audiences will be treated to some holiday favorites from Medora featuring Badlands stars of the past and present for some of the music of the season and a story for the family to enjoy.

One of the biggest staples of the Medora Musical has been longtime co-host and entertainer Bill Sorensen. While he hung up his hat in 2019, he says he’s fortunate to still be able to have some involvement with the Christmas tour.

Lovingly referred to as Mr. Medora, Sorensen kept the Medora Magic alive when he started the Magical Medora Christmas show tour in 2015. Today, the tour stops in Jamestown.

Sorensen says the unique experience should be fun for all this year.

Due to COVID-19, some stops have been canceled including stops in Ellendale and Valley City. After the Wednesday, December 15th stop in Jamestown, the revised schedule will bring performances to Park Rapids and Bloomington, MN and end with shows in Grand Forks, Fargo, and three shows in Bismarck.

“As always, it has been a joy to bring the spirit of Christmas and tradition of Medora to mostly sold-out shows across the region and we look forward to getting back at it,” Sorensen added.

Tickets are $39 and are available online at medora.com or at the door. The show tonight in Jamestown will be at 7:30 PM.
