VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Leevers South Manager Ron Volk said the grocery store will close permanently on Thursday, December 23rd. He said the store closure came down to not being able to find enough employees.

Volk said, “we’re just sorry to see the store close,” He said, “We really want to thank everyone for supporting us. We are really thankful for the support and giving us the time we had here.”

Doug Highland, director of operations at Leevers, said at this point he isn’t aware of any future uses of the building but emphasized no changes are planned for the Liquor Locker.

Lisa Boppry, assistant manager at Leevers North said the employees of Leevers South will be welcomed to the staff at the north location.
