Moorhead, MN (NewsDakota.com) – In a press release from Concordia College today, Board of Regents Chair Mary Ranum announced that President William Craft would be stepping down at the conclusion of the 2023 school year.  Craft is the 11th President of the University.

In a statement Ranum said, “President Craft has been an exemplary leader for our college. He has championed Concordia’s commitment to faith and learning, to diversity and environmental sustainability, and to citizenship and work readiness in the liberal arts tradition.”

Ranum also talked about the search for the next President, “The Board of Regents has already begun the work of seeking Concordia’s next president. Proposals from national search consulting firms are being vetted. I will work with other regents to appoint a presidential search committee that will include current and former regents, faculty, staff, student, and alumni/ae representatives. ”
