CARRINGTON, N.D. (Chamber) – Following tradition, the Carrington Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Christmas Lighting Contest is held in December. 

“Judges have been out and about seeking out the most festive outdoor décor and checking off nominations,” Chamber Executive Director Laurie Dietz stated.

Here are the results in the three categories:

Simply Elegant:  1st Place:  Dallas & Donna Anderson at 656 2nd St N.  2nd Place:  Paul and Roseanne Zink at 167 5th Ave S.

Most Unique:  1st Place:  Joe & Mallory Everson at 516 Main St.  2nd Place:  Brad & Brooke Solberg at 1407 3rd St N.

Griswold Award:  1st Place:  Kathy Cabler at 330 2nd St N. 2nd Place: Scott and Shannon Mehring at 545 Joal Drive. This award is given in recognition for those that go all out!

Honorable mentions:

Justin & Kim Cook at 207 Poplar Ave
Gary & Rett Bata at 1455 4th St N.

Carrington Cash prizes are awarded to these first place winners.

“The judges were amazed at the many excellent displays and were hard pressed to name winners,” Dietz added.
