NEW ROCKFORD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Cardinals nailed seven 3-pointers and improved to 4-1 overall this season as they defeat the Rockets of New Rockford/Sheyenne in Class B non-region girls basketball Tuesday night, 65-38, NRS drops to 3-3 overall.

Senior Sydnie Grager had a game high 24 points for Carrington and Haley Wolsky and Madison Johnson each added nine, Johnson hit two 3’s. Leading the way for the Rockets was Kennedy Demester with 14.

Next up for Carrington will be Thursday in Glenfield against Griggs/Midkota for a District 5 contest, KDAK will cover the varsity game starting about 7pm.
