VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCSUAthletics.com) – Valley City State volleyball junior Bailey Nelson has been named Honorable Mention All-Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association for the 2021 season.

Nelson led the Viking offense as an outside hitter in her junior campaign. She finished the season with 391 kills on a .210 hitting percentage and averaged 3.13 kills per set. The 6-foot standout posted a career-best 24 kills in a five-set victory over Briar Cliff. Nelson also added 43 blocks and 69 digs for the Vikings in the 2021 season.
