JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The 2021-22 Stutsman County Class B Girls Basketball Tournament starts on Thursday, December 9th and continues Friday and Saturday with four games each day at the Jamestown Civic Center. Action starts at 3pm on Thursday and Friday and an hour earlier on Saturday. The girls tourney was cancelled last year because of a Covid-19 four week shutdown of sports across North Dakota, the boys tourney was still held in January, 2021.

The Carrington Cardinals won the championship in 2018 and 2019 by defeating Medina/Pingree/Buchanan both times, the two-time defending champs draw the one seed from District 5 this year and will play the third game of the day on Thursday against Warwick. The tourney is made up of all Region 3 teams except the Warwick Warriors, who are from Region 4. Thunder Country 98.3 and newsdakota.com will broadcast the entire tourney. 3pm – Medina/PB vs. Ellendale

430pm – Edgeley/KM vs. South Border

6pm – Carrington vs. Warwick

730pm – Napoleon/GS vs. Griggs/Midkota
