VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Valley City is reminding motorists that vehicles parked on emergency routes will be towed if they are not removed while city crews are trying to remove snow. During a snow event, public works crews plow emergency routes first to accommodate ambulances and law enforcement vehicles.
Valley City Public Works Director Clint Klemisch said crews will begin snow removal on emergency routes on Sunday, December 5th moving into the northeast section of town afterwards and working clockwise through the city.
Klemisch said downtown Valley City will be wind-rowed and removed Sunday night with residential snow removal resuming once the downtown area is complete.
