VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Area Chamber’s Hometown Christmas kicked off with the Parade of Lights on Thursday, December 3rd in downtown Valley City.
Chamber Executive Director Kay Vinje said the event also kicked off the Christmas in the Valley Tour of Snowmen contest and the 12 Days of Christmas.
Downtown businesses had specials, door prizes and fun food options for those who attended the Parade of Lights on Thursday, December 3rd.
The Valley City Public Works Department was voted in as the best float this year. The Chamber thanked everyone who participated in the parade or sponsored the Parade of Lights in 2021.
