Mapleton, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The Cass County Sheriffs Office has caught a Detroit Lakes, MN woman trying to burglarize a rural building near Mapleton, ND.

According to a press release, on Tuesday, shortly before 5 p.m., a Cass County Deputy was patrolling west of Mapleton, ND and observed suspicious activity on a property just off of County Road 10. The deputy made contact with the individual and determined that 34 year-old Tina A. Retz was in the process of burglarizing the property. A search of the suspects vehicle resulted in drug paraphernalia and a concealed weapon being found. Retz was arrested on multiple charges including burglary, having a concealed weapon, and possessing drug Paraphernalia. She is currently in the Cass County Jail.
