JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Emergency personnel were dispatched out on Thursday, December 2nd at around 3 pm to an injury accident.

The Jamestown Police Department reports they responded to the intersection of 1st Avenue North and 4th Street to reports of at least one male trapped inside a vehicle. Surveillance footage shows a pickup entering attempting to cross 1st Avenue when it strikes the van on it’s passenger side, causing it to tip on it’s drivers side.

Police say several were transported by ambulance to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

Jamestown Rescue Squad also responded, but the occupants of the van had already removed themselves from the vehicle.

“The Police Department would like to thank the Jamestown Fire Department and the Jamestown Ambulance Service for their assistance with the victims,” the Jamestown Police Department states in a release. “We would also like to thank the Jamestown Street Department and individuals from Total Clean and NAPA Auto Parts Store for their assistance in getting the accident scene cleaned up.
