JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The newly formed Chamber Workforce Committee will be holding a free internship workshop on Tuesday, December 7th.
Created to help address workforce in the community, the main focus of the committee includes educational work experience programs, housing, and positive community image.
Chamber Executive Director Emily Bivens says the committee will use the internship workshop to show businesses how to build a program, what interns can do for a business, funding available for the business to host interns, and testimonials from area businesses.
Bivens added the committee is using the free workshop to promote job and workforce growth in the area.
The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, December 7th at Harold Newman Arena from 11 AM to 1 PM with lunch at 12 PM. Participants are asked to RSVP to ensure enough materials are available.
