VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Smoke was reported coming from an apartment unit on the fifth floor of the Landmark II building in Valley City on Tuesday, November 30th.

Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said cooking material heated up on a stove and began to roll smoke from the unit and into the hallway about 2:20pm.

Magnuson said a window was opened to ventilate smoke out of the building. No injuries were reported.
