frontier-village-2021

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Tourism is looking for the public to share their experience of the Frontier Village as they reimagine its draw for the future.

Having overlooked operations of the site for the last two years, Tourism Executive Director Searle Swedlund says they’ve been able to take a closer look at a few things.

Swedlund says those who have visited the site recently are encouraged to take the survey, but added others who may have brought visitors to the site to really take a look at that experience.

Swedlund adds that the survey is merely a way for them to analyze the direction the site should take, taking inspiration from what was a similar process numerous years ago.

The hope is the survey will frame the next period for Frontier Village and the future of the site. Swedlund says a big focus is how people today might want a different interaction than others years ago.

The Frontier Village has already begun to bring new experience for the younger audience to the site, with the newly installed Homesteader Park sponsored by the Kiwanis Club.

If you’d like to take the survey, you can click here. Those who complete the survey will have an opportunity to receive a $100 gift card.
